3D video mapping is an astonishing projection technology that allows to create a dynamic canvas out of any surface. Using specialized software, a two or three dimensional object is spatially mapped out in a virtual environment. The projection content is commonly combined with or triggered by audio to create an audio-visual narrative.
This new projection technique is used by NuFormer since 2008. This makes the bureau a pioneer as well as an introducer of this impressive form of media exposure to the world.Take a look at our portfolio

In 2014 Virtual Reality (VR) has been introduced to what will undoubtedly be a fast growing group of users worldwide. With the introductions of VR goggles like the Oculus Rift the consumer market will soon get familiar with this new visual technology. In anticipation of the coming period NuFormer, famous for its 3D video mapping projections, has connected Virtual Reality to video projection that can be mapped on anything. As a result, the VR experience of one to four people in a specific VR environment now can be shared with an audience. For example in front of a building where the projection content is projected on.The viewers on that venue will be able to see the virtual environment that is similar to what the players see in their goggles while tracked in a VR environment and from a third person view.

There are countless options to have the public involved in an interactive way. For instance by giving directions to the players and helping them finding the right way out of a maze. Imagine the audience split up in two and each group supports one player or one team that is in the VR box. Doing so a vivid interaction can be realized with a large number of people on the street.
Virtual Reality training and instruction
Training in a virtual environment offers unique possibilities. Situations that would normally be dangerous or life-threatening can be simulated in a realistic way in order to create optimal circumstances for training and practice purposes. In combination with advanced interactivity, these training situations can even exceed reality, with all benefits involved. Furthermore, for the provision of instructions the virtual world can be interesting as well. Due to the high level of involvement the impact of this method is high, resulting in information being better stored and remembered.
Our Virtual Reality training sessions can be specifically tailored for application in the personal work environment, but also in the NuFormer VR Experience Center. Here one or multiple persons can walk around in the virtual world at the same time. An advanced tracking system will ensure that the images people see in their VR-goggles will align with actual positions and situations. Enhanced with effects such as sound and wind people can find themselves in a different world, perfectly suited for every form of training, practice or instruction.
Instruction can also be offered via the use of a Powerwall. Through the use of ‘normal’ 3D glasses one can practice for example the performing of maintenance on a jet engine, working with a new machine or getting used to a new interface. There are numerous possibilities to train and educate (student) mechanics via these innovative technologies. By wearing 3D glasses, colleagues and/or fellow students can simultaneously experience this virtual 3D world in which one is practicing.

This merge of motion capture technologies and 3D video mapping was first introduced by NuFormer in 2012. With motion capture technology motions from an actor, wearing a special suit, are real-time copied onto a 3D character. The actor in the suit controls the 3D character and is in contact with a live audience, using video and audio equipment. With this technology a vivid live interactive show can be performed and, combined with 3D video mapping, this can be done on a very large scale. Take a look at the video footage of one of the live performances with this great technique.A Mocap Mapping projection requires a longer production time than the regular 3D video mapping. It can however be executed all over the world, on almost any canvas and in every language.

3D video mapping proves its versatility once again when applied as a 360° projection. This seamless blend of vivid and advanced 3D animation and 2D motion graphics, makes for an immersive and intense experience. Eliminating all distractions, 360° projection can be the appropriate means of communication when the objective is to focus the complete attention of the audience towards your company’s message.
360° projection can be setup indoor as well as outdoor and large scale to accommodate a bigger audience to smaller scale for individual communication, providing suitable projection options for every event. Take a look at a perfect example of this versatile experience we created for Ford.See one of our 360° projections
NuFormer developed a new form of projection media that can turn any available space into a fun and interactive area. Interactive screens are a creative way to utilize empty spaces, like waiting areas or store windows, so they can be used for both entertainment as well as commercial purposes.
This form of projection technology requires a special screen, one or more projectors and a gesture capture device like a Kinect. Click here to see what can be done with an empty shopping window and how customers react. NuFormer can design, create and program any kind of interactive screen, suitable for use behind a window, integrated into a wall or on its own.See an example of an interactive screen projection

Film / Video
NuFormer produces film and video productions since the start of the company in 2000. In our productions we are very keen on looking for a creative balance between advanced 3D animations, 2D motion graphic design and shot film/video footage. This is, next to the professional approach of every film/video production, what makes every NuFormer film/video production to be unique and distinguishing.
NuFormer creates all kinds of animations using several techniques like motion graphics. Our animations are informative, illustrative, functional and distinguishing. Click here to view some examples of different kind of animations.Overview productions
