Landing on Mars
29 Oct 2016
The first commercial cable-based VR experience introduced in New York at the National Geographic Mars exhibit. Extremely immersive, as you get to experience a virtual craft shuddering through descent, soaring over the Martian landscape and ending with a landing on Mars. The VR environment, like the interior of the capsule, the planet and its surface, the canyons, the landing spot on Mars, was created by NuFormer. The realtime generated 3D content make the people, sitting in the cable cart and wearing a VR goggle, feel like they are really inside the cockpit of a Marslander, being one of the astronauts.
